Wizard Boys Spring Teams

Program Details:

The Wheatland Wizards Basketball Club is a Premier Competitive Regional Traveling Basketball Program of the Wheatland Athletic Association which is based in the Naperville/Aurora, Plainfield, and Oswego area. Coach Duncan Ward serves as the Director of the Wheatland Wizards Basketball Program.

The Wheatland Wizards Travel Basketball program objective is to DEVELOP basketball players mentally and physically.  Our focus is through proper instruction to enhance participants basketball IQ, skill development, and provide appropriate competition.

Wizards Travel Basketball emphasizes: Man-to-man defense principles, full court, aggressive trapping defense, quick, transition offense & efficient spacing and floor balance offensively.

Season Information:
Teams will practice twice a week starting the week of March 11th, and participate in 7 weekend tournaments starting either April 13th or April 20th.

Wizard Boys Summer Teams

Program Details:

The Wheatland Wizards Basketball Club is a Premier Competitive Regional Traveling Basketball Program of the Wheatland Athletic Association which is based in the Naperville/Aurora, Plainfield and Oswego area.  Duncan Ward (Coach Dunc) serves as the Director of the Wheatland Wizards Basketball program, and the 8th grade and high school teams’ Head Coach.

The Wheatland Wizards Travel Basketball program objective is to DEVELOP basketball players mentally and physically.  Our focus is through proper instruction to enhance participants basketball IQ, skill development, and provide appropriate competition.

We emphasize: TEAMWORK!  Man-to-man defense principles, full court-aggressive trapping defense, quick-transition offense, and efficient spacing and floor balance offensively.

All players will register for the grade they just completed.  Teams will have 2 practices per week beginning the week of July 11th, and 6-7 weekend tournaments beginning July 29th through September 3rd.

Wizard Boys High School Fall Teams

Program Details:

The Wheatland Wizards Basketball Club is a Premier Competitive Regional Traveling Basketball Program of the Wheatland Athletic Association, based in the Naperville/Aurora, Plainfield and Oswego area. Coach Duncan Ward serves as the Director of the Wheatland Wizards Basketball Program, and the fall teams’ head coach.

The Wheatland Wizards Travel Basketball program objective is to develop basketball players into exceptional high school basketball players through education, skill development, and appropriate competition.

We emphasize: TEAMWORK!  Man-to-man defense principles, full court-aggressive trapping defense, quick-transition offense & efficient spacing and floor balance offensively.

All players will register for the grade they are entering.  Teams will have 2 practices per week beginning the week of September 11th, and 5-6 weekend tournaments beginning September 24th through October 30th.
